Description of the home

We are a family of four including two teenage girls plus 3 Shelties and a cat, and have been living in Campbell for over 20 years. We have a 1.5 year old (all but brand new) new studio and we are making it available for rent.

Campbell is very centrally located and is just over a 5 minute drive to the City and the Airport and within walking distance to the Defence precincts of Campbell and Russell Offices. Our property backs on to the reserve that leads to both Mount Ainslie and Mount Pleasant.

ANU is about 10 minutes away, Uni of Canberra 15-20 minutes while Barton/Kingston/Manuka is also just a 10 minutes’ drive. Campbell has a small shopping centre, but we are also only 5 minutes or so away from Majura Park (Costco, Woolworths, Big W and Aldi), the City or Dickson. We are on two bus routes (9 and 10) to and from the City.

The studio has a kitchen/living room and includes (all as new) a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, oven and cooktop, an inverter (air conditioning and heating), dining table (seats 4) and a lounge as well as a wall mounted TV; and the bedroom including a (also as new double bed with drawers, as well as an antique wardrobe. Off the bedroom is the ensuite with a heated floor.

All the windows and doors have roller blinds and for the door to the backyard, sheer curtains to allow you maintain your privacy whilst letting the light in.

Wi-Fi is available and all utilities are included in the price.

We are also happy to fit out the Studio with all kitchen items including crockery, cutlery, utensils glasses, saucepans etc etc if necessary at a slightly increased rent.

We will also purchase other fittings such as bedside tables/drawers, lamps etc if required (at no cost to you) and Foxtel is available but at your cost.

Our Studio is available immediately. Due to its size, we are only interested in singles - couples will not be considered.

We are looking for someone who is sociable but will respect our property and who will, like us, will respect each other’s privacy as appropriate.
