Home Description

Description of the home

THE APARTMENT IS AVAILABLE NOW.

This apartment is well equipped and fully furnished in good taste. It has a private balcony and a garden area. it is across the road from the North Cottesloe beaches and so has great views including Rottnest Island.

The café, restaurant & pub scene are just down the road or enjoy the beach on your doorstep.

You will be sharing the 2 bedroom apartment with a friendly mature active woman who enjoys the company of others, being out and about and privacy-quite normal.

There is also an affectionate, chilled cat that you may have to help to feed.

Ideally I am looking for someone who thinks going for a swim or beach walk everyday is awesome.

As there is limited storage space, the place would suit someone who is travelling light.

There is a bus stop on the doorstep which gets you to the train station from where you can easily get around if you don’t have a private car.

About the occupants
Hi. My name is Monika and I have been a primary teacher, a German teacher, an English as a 2nd language teacher and a Support Worker in the disability sector. I have been in hospitality and in sales. I run a small business and in the past have been an events co-ordinator. I have worked overseas in camps and schools.
At the moment I am Caring for my ageing mother.
I will be in Perth until Monday 29th August before returning to Tasmania to help mum. I anticipate being back in Perth early October.
My lifestyle essentially will revolve around work, my friends and my favourite activities like gardening, including a community garden, the beach, walking, bush walking, cafe scene, philosophy group, markets, bike riding and some craft.
My 20 year old son is also part of my life as he lives close by.
I am a happy, energetic, friendly woman who enjoys the stories other people like to tell.
A glass of wine and a good meal is a very important part of life.
I enjoy sport and have found this year's footy season very interesting-go Dockers.
I like to keep a good balance between work, activity and relaxation.
Compatible people
A good flatmate enjoys the company of the people they live with. They understand and respect the need to be responsible around shared spaces and so keep things clean and tidy. They are happy to be part of a cleaning roster and know how to use a kitty for shared costs. They are tuned into their own needs and the needs of others and are good communicators. Someone who can bring laughter into the home is a real bonus.
Description of pets
Zac is a male cat about 12 years old who is a nice balance of independence and affection.
