The photos here are a mix of images from the real estate site, where the house is unfurnished, and ones taken by myself today 18/1/26. The house is furnished with a fridge, all cooking appliances including an airfryer, dishwasher, washing machine couch and dining table (dining table is in the covered outdoor area).

The bedroom itself is quite small and will have a wardrobe built into it free of charge by the landlords. I also have a new (6 months old) queen bed to go in the room if you would like to purchase it.

The house is located in the beachside suburb of Tugun, being just a short drive or bike ride from Tugun Beach, local cafes, shops and public transport. Tugun is well known for its relaxed coastal vibe, friendly community atmosphere, and easy access to both Gold Coast and Northern NSW amenities.

For the house itself, there are 2 bedrooms inside (1 that needs to be filled) and another detached room. The house is quite small with a little living room that both rooms attach to. The kitchen is also not huge, however has all nessasary apliances that have been supplied by myself (Jack) and Lochie.

Bills and expenses

The bills and expenses are covered by the landlords up to 1000 dollars per quarter, if this is exceeded we will have to split the difference. The idea here is to be power cautious, and we do not intend to go over this limit.

About occupants
Hey, we’re Lochie and Jack, and we’re currently living in the house. We’re very like-minded and both work in tech sales, with the flexibility of working from home one day a week.

Outside of work, we’re pretty easy-going. We both enjoy surfing, watching sport, and winding down with a few quiet beers on a Friday night, but we’re definitely not a party house. During the week it’s usually relaxed and low-key.

We take a lot of pride in the place and genuinely enjoy looking after the house and treating it like a home, not just a flat. We’re tidy, respectful of shared spaces, and value a comfortable, positive living environment where everyone feels at home.

We’re looking to keep the house feeling welcoming, calm and well-maintained, and would love to live with someone who shares similar values. Additonally the house is on the smaller side, we’re looking for someone who is naturally tidy, respectful of shared spaces, and happy to help out when needed.
