About the occupants
I'm a 37yo queer girl working in medical admin who spends her leisure hours crafting, reading, dabbling in cosplay, horror movies, video games, cycling and going to the gym. I also loves to bake delicious treats, make homecooked meals and share all the aforementioned as long as roomies can occasionally chip in. I don't have people over often but sometimes socialise with small groups of close friends. The person I was living with is moving out and I'm looking for someone to move in since the rent increased recently and I can't cover it alone. Preferably I'm looking for someone to stay long term if we get on well, at least through a 12mth lease!
Compatible people
I believe communication and equal sharing is important; everyone in a household should feel like they're being treated fairly and being listened to. I'd love to sit down to discuss what works best in regards to splitting/sharing chores. It would be nice to have a friend just as much as a housemate, and while I love friendly socialising both within and outside of the home, I also value everyone's privacy and need for time alone. Movie nights and video game sessions are optional but encouraged!
