Home Description

Description of the home

The home is contemporary with floor-to-ceiling windows that give an amazing view over Melbourne. The apartment has excellent air conditioning. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. So we will share only the living room and kitchen. The apartment also has the coolest balcony. Huge and amazing view. The plants you see on the pics all belong to the departing housemate (She has the greatest skills with plants). So it won't look exactly like that. But I'm planning to buy a few, and it will be beautiful again... until the plants die... because it's the story of my life with plants lol

The apartment has parking available. We'd need to rediscuss the rent ($) if you need the space, but I don't have a car so that wouldn't be a problem. If having an ensuite is very important for you, it's the room that my housemates are leaving. We could discuss the option too.

The apartment is right next to North Richmond train station. Perfect to avoid being late. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to the Hive shopping centre, Victoria Street, and close to Abbotsford, the Yarra River, Fitzroy Garden, and not too far from Victoria Gardens shopping centre. It's a really good location.

About the occupants
Hello! :) My name is Renaud, 36 year-old. Originally from Canada (Quebec), I've been in Melbourne for over 7 years now. I just graduated in psychology, and I am working in the disability sector and in education. I like to think that I am quite active (jogging, restaurants, social and cultural events, etc). At home, I'm very calm. I don't host much (aside from my partner that spends most weekends since he lives outside of Melbourne). I tend to go to bed early and wake up early. It's not a party house. I tend to cook at home, but I've been house-sharing most of my adult life so I keep a clean kitchen. I'm not OCD about cleaning, but I like to keep the place clean. If having a housekeeper is something that is on your mind, happy to discuss this option. I traveled a bit, looking forward to doing it again.
Compatible people
I like to have a chat with my housemate, but I also like to have my personal space. So I'm very understanding of your own personal space too. I would prefer to live with someone that is socially conscious and respect the environment. A person that is drama-free and can communicate. I like to think I'm easy to live with, and seek someone like that.
