Currently looking for a new housemates. A single or couple in a private upstairs suite who are clean, tidy and respectful humans to share this beautiful house. The room is on the first floor with a large ensuite bathroom and office. The house is enormous… downstairs also has the potential for a second lounge room or sitting room (currently an office but we can shift that). The kitchen will suit even the most discerning chef, the dining and living space is palatial, and is fully kitted out. The upstairs space has its own office adjacent to the bedroom, great for those who work from home or want to play games etc online. There is plenty of room as far as storage. The room currently has a KS bed and bedsides. The lounge is massive, the kitchen is chef ready, with integrated refrigeration, gas cooking and a dishwasher. We have all the bits and bobs, but are happy to add your lounge, dining, TV and etc - happy for you to to add whatever makes you feel at home. The bedroom is unfurnished

Home Description

Description of the home

The home is very luxe, and would suit those who like to entertain or enjoy a drink. There’s lots of space to have peace and quiet. The outdoor space is lovely to hang out in, perfect and at its best in Spring and Summer. It’s a beautiful area, great coffee everywhere and supermarkets very close by.

The house itself is in the heart of Richmonds nicest area, with a short walk to both train and trams on either Swan St or Bridge Rd. The MCG is at the end of the street, with a lovely pub at the other end. A 20 minute walk through the MCG gardens and Fitzroy gardens will see you at the Paris end of Collins Street. Cafes, pubs, bars and venues are all within cooee on both Swan and Bridge, and a 10 minute walk has you on the water’s edge to the Yarra River for walking, cycling or running, with the tan in close proximity.

Parking is by permit with council, and plenty of car shares and PT nearby. We can discuss food and cooking with you

You would be sharing the house with two others - a 38 yo gay male and a 50 yo straight female . Fun to get along with. Female works in retail management and is part time in Melbourne and the rest in Adelaide. The male works hybrid home and on the office, and has a busy life in the evening. )The current couple are leaving to go to regional Vic for work and one works shift work, the other WFH). We tend to go with the flow, low drama, but like to keep a clean and tidy home. meals are shared on occasion, none of us party animals but do enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the week.

*please note bond is 6 weeks rent

Hi, Im Michelle. I am 50 and work in fashion retail management - I live half my time in Adelaide and the rest here. I tend to work most weekends and live a pretty quiet life. Not a big drinker or party animal but happy to hang out and laugh and watch a bit of footy, netflix and so. Very easy going and relaxed.

Hi I'm Toby. I work FT hybrid some time at home and the office. I am into stand up comedy, improv and spending time out with my friends. I love a glass of wine, or a beer. Always keen for a chat. Pretty easy goign and go with the flow.
