Huge free-standing, two-storey, four bedroom Victorian house with separate lounge and dining rooms, upstairs and downstairs bathrooms (both with shower), external laundry (there is a dryer but also a sunny clothes line), garden courtyard with outdoor table/BBQ and a rooftop timber deck with sweeping views south to Botany Bay, east/north across to the city and out west to the Blue Mountains.

House has recently been repainted inside and out.

7 minutes walk to either Stanmore or Petersham train station.

412 bus takes you through Camperdown and Newtown, past University of Sydney and on to the CBD. In the opposite direction the 412 goes through Petersham to Marrickville and beyond.

445 bus takes you to shops/cafes/restaurants along Norton St, Leichhardt.

Short walk down Crystal St to more buses on Parramatta Rd.

Close to a host of the Inner West's vibrant attractions (eg 2min train ride to Newtown and Enmore Road) and only a short stroll to local supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs eg Norton St, Leichhardt

The house is fully furnished so does not need more furniture, but we’re always open to a nice replacement! In summer the house is generally cool in the day time and there is a garden courtyard or rooftop to enjoy a breeze in the evening. In winter the afternoon western sun keeps the house nice and bright. There are shared bathrooms upstairs and downstairs (both with a shower), an external toilet and external laundry at the rear. The deck on the roof has a view of the surrounding suburb to the south, across to the Blue Mountains in the west and to the north the CBD, Harbour Bridge and beyond.

About occupants
We are laid back and considerate housemates (two guys, two girls including a couple) all quite busy with quite different schedules but we try and hang out and do something social together in the evenings or on the weekend.

We are not looking to put anyone on the lease, we would just like to find someone to take a room for at least 6 months - but we'd really love to find someone to stay with us long-term : )

Steve (Scottish) is a solar engineer and runs his own business manufacturing switchboards for solar

Joanne (Australian) is in a government data analysis role.

Juliana (Brazilian) works as a therapeutic massage therapist in the Inner West

We would like to have a new friend as much as a flatmate. We are all fairly busy and independent but would love the occasional drink or to share a meal - or a night out!

We live without a TV in the living-room - we prefer quality music and good company!
