Description of the home

We are looking for someone to join us in a 4 bedroom, two-storey house in Belmont. There are two unfurnished rooms for rent, both upstairs. Rooms hosts built-in wardrobes and ceiling fans.

Upstairs in general is all newly carpeted and freshly painted. There is also a spacious lounge and separate dining kitchen, as well as a cosy study area by the kitchen. Please note that it’s completely unfurnished.

We have a room upstairs but will be spending most our time downstairs. We will be sharing the kitchen, and bathroom upstairs. In the kitchen, a French-door fridge, oven, electric stove, microwave and dishwasher are also available for use. My partner and I will be sharing the one bedroom and apart from that, the rest of the house (apart from downstairs) is unfurnished.

The house is located with easy access to Gateway Motorway, Brisbane Bayside, Cannon Hill Kmart Plaza (about 9 mins drive) and Westfield Carindale (about 5 mins drive). There is plenty of parking space on the street. For those who do not own a car, bus stops and a local shopping village are within walkable distance.

For students who are studying at Griffith University or the University of Queensland, there are express buses at Carindale bus interchange to take you there.

Flexible length of stay however 2 months minimum desired.

Minimum of 4 weeks bond is strongly preferred.

Bills and expenses

The bills will be divided equally amongst the household. This would be NBN, electricity and water. I'm happy to buy the cleaning/toilet/bathroom products, but again, everyone will need to contribute by splitting the cost equally.
