Description of the home

We are looking for a housemate to join our home, doggo friends also welcome!

Your room is available from 8 October.

It's a large house in Highgate (near Unley) on a big block of land, with 4 bedrooms and a couple of different living areas, so we are not always on top of each other.

Rent is cheap and the location is fantastic. Five minutes from the CBD by car, or 15 minutes by bike. There are some great bike tracks around. We're also close to the Farmers Markets in Wayville. Close to lots of pubs , restaurants and supermarkets, including the Frewville Foodland.

The house is already fully furnished, except for your room which will be unfurnished.

Your room is shown in the photos. Dimensions are roughly 3.6 meters by 3 meters. It has a ceiling fan and a view of the front yard. It will be completely empty once the current housemate moves out, so you can move in your own furniture and decorate as you like.

It's an old house, but is clean and has lots of charm. It's a big house with a big yard, so you'll need to be someone that is up for doing some work around the yard. Gardeners, veggie growers and hand-people are very welcome!

Communal areas are the kitchen/dining, a large lounge, separate study and a large sunroom with a second kitchen table at the back of the house overlooking our awesome garden (currently a work in progress). If you're into gardening, you can have your own plot to grow veggies.

There's also a fire pit at the back of the property, which is great in winter and a big chook shed.

Unlimited wifi available. Bills are not included in the price and shared equally. We're looking at getting a fortnightly cleaner and sharing the cost.
