About the occupants
I'm a primary school teacher in my forties, renting while I get my own house deposit together. I've recently moved from Melbourne and am still getting to know the local area again after fourteen years away.

I enjoy meeting (love life) new people and have lived with some terrific housemates previously. I am home for about four nights a week and would welcome a chat and wine/dinner if you are happy to, however, I also respect your space!
For fun I enjoy cooking, socialising with mates, hiking, hanging out with my nieces and nephews, reading, visiting friends in Melbourne, Game of Thrones (!) and travelling when the budget allows.

Living with me is my dog Max, a very spoilt cavoodle. When I am not home, he enjoys doggy day care with my parents in the country.
Compatible people
Ideal housemate would be a professional, work full time, be respectful and friendly. I keep a pretty tidy house (except at report writing time!) so would like someone who is also clean and tidy. It's not a party house but friends, dinner parties and drinks on the deck are welcome. Liking dogs is a must!
An active social life or an active lifestyle is preferable. If you are the type who spends all day playing video games, this is probably not the house for you.
Description of pets
Max, a very spoiled cavoodle. Very placid and affectionate, loves exercise and is never home alone - he goes to my parents when I'm not at home.
