Hi! I have a double room available in Abbotsford. The lease will commence on 16th September, and is a rolling month-by-month contract with our private landlord. Win win.
The room itself is gorgeous - the house has been recently renovated and the room is fitted with built in robes, a phone line and dimmer lights. It has a lovely outlook through vintage style windows over the leafy porch onto our quiet street. The room is unfurnished, so you're free to do your thing.
A little about the house - it's a newly renovated row house at the end of a dead end street. It's deliciously quiet. Our neighbors on one side live in the country so aren't offend, and on the other side are a sedate couple who burn incense on the weekend and keep to themselves. The house is chic af, with an exposed brick wall, high ceilings and vintage furnishings. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The bathroom has a bath and shower-head shower, a marble bench top and underfloor heating in the polished concrete. We have reverse cycle AC in the lounge room, and the house is fully furnished (by me - you're welcome). The kitchen has all your normal bells and whistles. We have a TV, but it's still in the box because #Netflix.
Location wise, we are a street back from Abbotsford Convent. Not only do we have a lovely yard with a lemon tree and cute little lights, but we have the Convent ridiculously close too! We also have amazing brunch joints and pubs/bars within a 5 min walk, and there are cycling trails all over the place. Collingwood train station is a 7 min walk (5 if you're legging it) and there are buses into the city within 5 mins of the door.
