Home Description

Description of the home

The house is pretty amazing, it was architecturally designed in the 60's and feels like it's come off a set of Mad men, it's a stupidly cool place to live. The house is fully furnished, has cork floors throughout, floor to ceiling windows around the whole back of the house that open onto a entertaining deck and backyard which gets full sunlight all day long, timber paneling throughout and bedrooms are all queen size, bedrooms can be partly furnished if you need we can discuss. Kitchen has a dishwasher, bathroom has continuous gas hot water and Laundry has both washing machine and dryer.

The house is next door to the lodge and within walking distance to Capital Hill, it takes under 10 minutes to drive to the city and around a 10 minute walk to Lake Burley Griffin

About the occupants
Hi My name is Mandy I'm 41, have recently moved to Canberra from Sydney to open a cafe in Civic, I moved here with my partner and 2 kids, and our relationship wanted different things, she is heading back to Sydney. I am currently working in hospitality full time and in the process of building a cafe in Civic, I also work on another business with a friend on weekends doing Mobile Coffee, I keep pretty busy, but when at home enjoy cooking listening to music and chilling out. I really enjoy heading out for a drink and am always up for a giggle. I think im pretty relaxed, I respect other people's space but also enjoy the company of others. I don't have any issues or OCD's and would prefer not to live with people that do.

Jai Morgan - Jai is the eldest of our kids he is turning 18 this year and currently on boarding school doing his HSC, he will be coming home when school finishes in October until the intake of the army early next year, he is a respectful, tall and kind person and is looking forward to the diversity of having flatmates..
Compatible people
Personal qualities that i like in a person, I like happy people, that live with their glass half full not half empty, I think life should be a series of good giggles and surrounding yourself with people that enjoy that journey. I like all kinds of people, happy, sassy, smart, funny, kind, considerate, thoughtful, intelligent, social, conversationalists, anyone that likes wine, food and great company
