Home Description

Description of the home

A light-filled, dog-friendly townhouse in Abbotsford close to cafes and parks!

I've got 1 bedroom going in a fully furnished home in Abbotsford, opposite Victoria Park oval. With two living rooms (with heating/aircon), big kitchen and sunny courtyard out the back. The place is fully furnished but could do with a better TV, a vacuum cleaner and additional kitchen supplies. There's the option of a carpark if you require.

The house is a 2 minute walk to Victoria Park train station and 5 minutes from Johnston street buses. There are 2 carparks in a secure garage and plenty of parking on the street. Plus there's Dr Morse, Rita's, Lulie St Tavern and that really expensive IGA supermarket just on Johnston street. If you love dogs, coffee and long walks along the Yarra this place is for you!

About the occupants
Hi there! I'm Dani, a 29-year old working in international development. I'm curious, social and like to chat about the ways of the world. I travel internationally for work so am away about 30-40% of the time. But when I am home I like to go for walks along the Yarra, bake cake or cookies (with the intention of saving them for the week, but then just eating them all), do yoga, cook up a big weekend breakfast, read the papers and watch excessive amounts of Netflix, Viceland, ABC iView.

Ryan - Ryan works in visual merchandising at Osmosis, has awesome tatts and is the proud owner of our resident (sausage) dog, Jersey!
Compatible people
I'm hoping to find housemates who are friendly, positive and interested in making this house a home. A home that is respectful of diversity, left-leaning and environmentally responsible. And of course one that is occupied by a dog :) Friends and family are welcome, whilst still respecting each other's space and privacy. I do own this place but I'm not particularly fussy. Cleaning of communal areas is monthly.
