Description of the home

Suburb & Transport:

The Sharehouse is located in the Transit Suburb of Klemzig, only a 15 minute drive or bus ride into the CBD. Everything in Klemzig is within a 5 - 20 minute walking or cycling distance.

House:

It is a four bedroom, two bathroom, double garage house, located at the very far end of a private strata of detached houses. The strata is very well maintained and includes a community park and garden. Regular strata social gatherings are a nice bonus and everyone living there is friendly, whilst also respecting each other’s freedom and privacy. The house has been set up with naked ADSL2 internet with unlimited data, through iiNet.

There are three bedrooms available. Two single bedrooms with built in wardrobes, one double size bedroom and a large bathroom with separate toilet and sink to share. A fridge, washing machine, living room furniture and modem, will be provided to share, but the bedrooms remain unfurnished.

The house in general has a neutral palate with clean lines, modern simple design and fixtures. There is lots of light, with plenty of large windows, covered by Holland black out blinds. It has carpeted bedrooms and tiled living areas.

It has an open plan living area, which includes the kitchen, dining and lounge room. The kitchen comes with a very large walk in pantry to share, as well as a gas stove and oven. There is a large laundry with plenty of linen storage. An excellent reverse cycle ducted air conditioner. The backyard is a low maintenance courtyard, where smoking is okay, with a dedicated rainwater tank for the 3 toilets. It has a secure automatic roller door to the double garage and parking outside for one extra car, which means there is enough parking for five cars in total.

Bills and expenses

The rent is $120 per week each, this doesn't include the water, gas, electricity and internet bills. Internet is $17.50 per month each, but negotiable. All the bills including the rent are equally split four ways.

About the occupants
I am a local female University Student, through the University of South Australia and based at the Mawson Lakes campus. I'm enrolled in a Science program, studying for a computer Programming Major. I also work part time, but prioritise my university studies. I have been living in this sharehouse for a year now.

Trust and authenticity are the personal qualities which are most important to me in a sharehouse context.

I am looking for three new Housemates. In my opinion this Sharehouse would suit other female University Students, especially those from the UniSA Mawson Lakes Campus, but I'm open minded enough to sharehouse with anyone trustworthy.
