Other information
The room is the biggest bedroom and is at the front of the house. It has a large east-facing window, looking outside over the front yard. The room measures about 3.6 x 4.2 metres. It can comfortably fit a queen bed, a desk, a set of drawers and already has an antique wardrobe (which can be removed if you don't want it). It also has a fancy original antique fireplace and mantlepiece as well. The room has a reverse cycle air conditioner / heater.

Home Description

Description of the home

The house is a lovely old double-fronted Victorian built in the early 1900's. There's gas heating and reverse cycle air conditioning throughout the house. The backyard is a great space to relax in with a nice lush lawn. We have some outdoor furniture, a fire pit and a BBQ.

All common area house stuff covered, so a TV, couches, dining table, kitchen stuff etc. are all here and available for you to use. You'll just need to furnish your own room. Over COVID, we invested in a home gym set-up with weights if you're into that.

Bills and expenses

MONEY AND THINGS:
- Rent is paid monthly on the same date of each month, e.g. December 10th, January 10th etc.
- $953 per calendar month (which is roughly $220 x 4.333 weeks in a month).
- Bond is 1 month of rent paid in advance ($953).
- Ideally a 6 month minimum stay and 4 weeks notice if you want to leave, but I get life happens so I'm sure we can work out something.

BILLS: Internet (unlimited), water, electricity and gas bills are split equally as they come in. These fluctuate seasonally but have generally been on average around the $20/week mark.

About the occupants
There are three of us living here - Ben (26), Joe (29) and Nigel (29) - and you would be lucky number four! Nigel works in finance and is studying IT, Joe works in government and is studying psychology and Ben has recently finished studying environmental science and is working in the field.

Household activities include complaining about work and / or uni and hanging out to watch the latest series on whatever streaming service is in vogue. We're happy to hang out together and just as equally happy to do our own thing too. Having people over is not an issue, we're just not a raging party house.
Compatible people
Someone who can pay the rent and bills on time and is a decent person is a must. We're all mindful of each other and each person's property and space. We take pride in having a tidy home to live in, so it would be good if you shared similar expectations.

We're keen for someone that we can get along with well rather than filling the room with the first person that comes by, so if the ad is still up and we sound kinda alright, feel free to reach out and tell us a bit about yourself. :)
