Home Description

Description of the home

We have a beautiful renovated Queenslander in the heart of Ashgrove and I am looking for a 25+ non-smoker to call our place home.

If you are looking for somewhere you can have your own space and plenty of freedom then this is the home for you. It’s in the heart of Ashgrove with bus stop right out the front. Coles and Woolworths are within walking distance. There are some of the best cafés in Brisbane only 500m away and if you’re into fitness you can choose one of the beautiful walking paths or join the gym that’s right up the road.

The house itself is a 3 bedroom plus study, 2 bathroom with laundry. The option of undercover parking and off street parking (4 car spaces in total to choose from). Due to the location, a car is not necessary. If you love cooking the kitchen is perfect for you, complete with Gas oven and stove top. There is a fantastic deck for entertaining and plenty of storage under the house for your extra belongings. Polished timber floors and lovely high ceilings

You would be sharing with only one other person (my brother) who has a dog. My partner an I just bought a second home and had a baby and he is looking after the property for us at the moment while we adjust to our new life. He is in charge of the maintenance of the yard and general handy man jobs (is also paying rent), so you don’t have to do anything except clean up whatever mess you make. We are very easy going, accommodating and reasonable people. if there are any problems or issues we are happy to help.

He does not have much stuff in the house and mainly occupies his room and has the essentials in the kitchen and TV room. So whether you have a complete set up and need space for your stuff, are looking to purchase furniture in the future or are happy with the essentials then it’s perfect for all options.

Please email or text if you are interested and ill call you back. A brief description of yourself would be nice and any questions you may have please feel free to ask.
Look forward to hearing from you.

About the occupants
The other flatmate is my 29 y/o brother Tim who is living there with his dog Hamish. He is taking care of the general maintenance and lawn of the property. Tim is a great guy, who enjoys working outdoors, cooking, computer games and documentaries. He is ex-army, house proud and can keep to himself or loves a good chat. He is very easy going and great to live with.
Compatible people
It's essential that you are reliable with the rent and accountable with your belongings and hygiene.
You do not need to be an extravert but it is important that you are friendly and polite. Let's be honest, who likes to share a home with a ghost that never says hello.
