If you love being surrounded by nature and animals, but less than 10min into town, then this place is for you!

Set on a peaceful 5 acres, our home is spacious and clean. Light and airy open-plan kitchen and living room, with a fireplace for those chilly winter evenings. 2 decks on either side of the house so there's always a quiet corner to read a book! We are constantly working on the house or garden and our next project is building an outdoor fire pit. There is a walk-in pantry, so you've got plenty of space to store your kitchen goods. We have free ranging chickens and tenants are encouraged to have as many eggs as they like! We also have 2 border collie X dogs which are a part of the family. We have a basic gym set up in a shed which you're welcome to use.

There are tables, chairs and hammocks scattered around the garden to help relax! It's not uncommon to see Kangaroos and Wallabies in the back paddock, not to mention a vast array of birds and other wildlife.

About the occupants
Hi, I'm Joanna and I run a pet grooming business from home (seperate from the house). I'm British/Brazilian, originally came to Australia on a working holiday 7 years ago and have now made it my home.

Nathan - My husband Nathan is a Kiwi but lived here most if his life. He's a sparky, gets up early and goes to bed early.

We love fishing, kayaking, camping, hiking, mountain biking etc....basically anything that gets us out in nature
Compatible people
We are looking for a very chilled and easy going person to match our personalities. Someone tidy, relatively sociable and good with animals! We are eco-warriors at heart (all organic material goes to the chickens or is composted, we are big on recycling, upcycling and repurposing stuff, growing our own fruit and veggies to help cut down our carbon footprint etc) so it would be ideal to have someone like minded.
Description of pets
Murray is our first born, he's almost 4 years old! He's a staffy X koolie that is the biggest softy you'll ever meet. He loves nothing more than a chin scratch.

Mabel is almost 3 years old. She's a Border Collie x Kelpie. Completely and utterly obsessed with tennis balls and playing fetch!

Our chickens are 100% free ranging, they tend to follow me around the property and come when called and even hop up on your lap for a pat! They all have names, though I'm not sure they are aware of this.
