Home Description
Description of the home
2 bedroom/1 bathroom top floor apartment with balcony, which has stunning 180 degree views from the lighthouse to Mt Keira.
The apartment is a comfortable size for two people, with an open lounge and dining room, separate kitchen with laundry attached.
Main living areas are carpeted (very retro carpet!), bathroom and kitchen are equally as retro but clean and tidy.
Partly furnished - still need a lounge, dining and outdoor tables.
Neighbours in the apartment block are very friendly, have never had any problems. There is (what I'm hoping is) a communal herb garden downstairs.
There is a lock-up garage available with extra storage space. Currently I park on the street and it's fine, once you get to know where you can park and at what time. The apartment is in the city so you take the good with the bad.
The location in Corrimal Street is awesome:
- 5 minute walk to City beach
- 10 minute walk to the Lighthouse
- 10 minute walk to Crown St Mall
- 15 minute walk to Keira St
- 20 minute walk to the Hospital
- Plenty of restaurants/cafes within walking distance
- Free bus loop to the University is literally right out the front of the apartment block!

28 years old and female.
I'm currently in my second year of studying Medicine at UOW which keeps me pretty busy during the week. I'm also a Registered Nurse so occasionally work shifts at the hospital. My routine is often a bit all over the place - from July, I'll be on placement at the hospital and will need to study in the evenings. I'm often away on weekends as my boyfriend lives in south Sydney. I also have a couple of uni placements this year where I'll be away for extended periods of time.
I certainly don't mind if you want to have friends/family over/have them crash on the couch etc. Every now and then I'd like to invite some of my friends down from Sydney for the night, but it's not very often. I do like wine very much and enjoy a sociable drink on the weekend.
