Our current housemate has a queen bed plus her wardrobe etc. The housemate before was a student so had a double bed plus a large desk plus normal clothes etc.
The house also has kinda 3 living rooms, so you will also be able to have extra stuff stored in one of them as long as it is neat and tidy (ie, in furnisher or suitcases).

We have a lovely large old home in a great location.
Quiet street with great neighbors, 5 mins drive to Merewether beach (or 15 by pushy). 20 min walk to Hamilton station (10 on pushy).
Can walk home from the city after a night out (ok, its a long walk.. but can do it)
High ceilings, lots of living spaces, big kitchen. Nice covered back deck plus grassy backyard.
Ok, so the house is a bit rough around the edges.. ie carpet / paint is old. Bathroom is old and a bit random.
But if your like us and care more about lifestyle than the fancy trimmings you'll look past that and enjoy cheap rent in this awesome spot.

Bills and expenses
Rent is actually $140, then $20 per week goes towards bills (internet, water, power, gas) .. if the bill is high that month you may still need to put in extra.. this has only happened once (in summer when using our fans all the time)
The lease is in Matts name, and he is planning to stay for 3-4 months. If you want to stay on longer it should be no problem to get lease changed to your name at this time. We have a good relationship with our real estate

I'm pretty busy with that during the week. In free time I like to go to the beach, gigs, meditation, camping. Spend Uni holidays in Sydney or at doofs.
I'm pretty easy going, have lived with lots of different types of people.
I'm very considerate of my housemates and like a house with good communication and who treat each other like family.
Matt - Matt is 26, has deferred his degree for a year to works in car insurance.
He likes cars, sports, the gym, the pub.
He's super friendly, open minded, very easy to talk to and an all round good egg.
Bell is the pretty little tabby.. Shes likes all people but gets startled easily because she is completely blind. Although she has pretty good perception from smell and sound its nice to call her name before you pat her so you don't frighten her.
She has an adorable swagger due to her blindness.
