Description of the home
In the house there is James 30, Georgie 25, Mike 30 and Bunty 24.
It’s a 4 bedroom house, and the fifth bedroom is in a detached granny flat out the back (Mike and Bunty, aka Bike, are the couple that share the hut). The room available is one IN the house with high ceilings and large enough for a queen bed + desk, sharing a bathroom with Georgie. We have a big open living space for lounge, kitchen and living (and heaps of room for activities). There is a back deck with a 10 seater table and a grass backyard. It’s a pretty relaxed house - everyone is super friendly and the room available is a large bedroom in the house with a built in wardrobe. Less than 5 min walk to Artarmon train station, with on-street parking and 1 parking space under a car port that we just take turns using.
We have TWO golden retrievers, all the fun and none of the responsibility of owning a dog! We keep it clean and tidy and have a cleaner through every fortnight. All you need to bring is whatever you need in your bedroom. TV, Netflix, Stan, prime tv, fridges, washers, dryers all there. You may be required to participate in a pizza/movie/wine night occasionally.

Power, gas, water, electricity, internet, cleaner. All bills split five ways. Everyone does their own thing for food - but if you cook something that smells delicious you may need to share.

Mike (aka Michelangelo, brother of Donatello) - Mike is 30 and from a young age liked playing with LEGO, digging holes and was a child gymnast prodigy. Now this has developed into a career of telling people to dig holes and filling them with concrete (he claims he is a senior project engineer for a tier one construction company - but don’t give him that glory). The man also has a holiday house at the snow which is why we keep him around. He is the calmest human around and has a resting heart rate of 3. He is the house problem solver and a genuinely good human. Slow cooking is his jam.
Bunty, 24 - Bunty is the better half of Mike (so she's pretty damn good). Bunty enjoys a 4WD weekend away, winching everything in her path and is the house's miscellaneous Mexican chef. She is the house botanist and mother of dragons, I mean golden retrievers.
Georgie, 25 - Georgie is our own Northern Beaches queen. She enjoys long walks on the beach, chatting to her 2 month old niece over Facetime and shaping the minds of the future generation. She is a great bathroom sharer and never leaves her hair around.
Yuki (the other dog) - Yuki is a 4 month old golden retriever who is going through a stick phase and enjoys pestering his older cousin, Zali.
