ROOM AVAILABLE NOW. I have 1 spare unfurnished room in a 4-bedroom lowset house, which can fit a double Queensize bed (2.7 sqm). Room is AIRCONDITIONED, with blackout curtains and blinds perfect for shift workers. Room also has built-in wardrobe, individual key lock and wired Ethernet. House has NBN to the building and wireless internet access throughout (included). House also contains fully furnished kitchen, spare lounge, voice controlled smart lighting and gym equipment available for use. House is situated in a quiet location (cul-da-sac) and has plenty of space for off-street parking. There is an undercover BBQ area for entertaining friends and family. Walk to dog park, public pool and skate park, ice skating rink, several football fields etc, 2x shopping centres. Public transport (train / bus) available. Drive 15 mins to hospital / Chermside / North Lakes / Airport.

Rent is 2 weeks paid in advance and bond is 2 weeks rent. Rent includes Electricity, Water and Internet. NB: I tend to have lot of interest when a room becomes available - thus a holding deposit of 2 weeks rent (becomes the bond) will be required if you decide you like the room and want to secure it before it is available or set a later date to move in.

About the occupants
Share house with myself (owner) and one other HM (both nonsmoking shift workers). Professionals and/or students preferred. Bathroom is shared between the other HM and guests (if any). House owner is a professional, trustworthy, well-travelled, highly tertiary educated and loves gaming / movies (as do the current housemates) and ice skating. Current housemate is in the security industry (FIFO so only home <50%, as is his very friendly staffy). Any new prospective housemate must be good fit to us and as such an interview/meet and greet is required before making the leap especially if you intend to bring an (outside) dog. Both of us have Christian backgrounds so prospective housemates must be comfortable with that. It's been my experience that most housemates I recruit usually signup for 6 months then stay for 2-5 years, usually only moving on to get married, buy own house etc. Thus, any room I have is rarely advertised!
