Description of the home

We have a beautiful home tucked away up a quiet dirt road, surrounded by established gardens and nature. The house has four bedrooms, with a large rear deck featuring a spa, plus a generous front deck with stunning views across the bay and city. We are just a five-minute drive to Mt Martha Village and some of the Peninsula’s best beaches.

The available studio is a very large bedroom located in its own private wing of the house, separated from the main living areas by the kitchen. The room is carpeted and comes fully furnished with a queen bed, large wardrobe with drawers, desk, comfortable leather couch, and reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating. You would also have your own bathroom with shower and toilet, plus access to shared laundry facilities.

The main kitchen and lounge area is open and well equipped, with a large smart TV, couch, and dining space. The kitchen includes a gas cooktop, dishwasher, fridge, and all appliances, dishes and cutlery. The backyard opens onto another large deck with a spa and BBQ, which you are welcome to use.

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, easy-going and respectful housemate who is clean and tidy. An animal lover is important, as we share our home with our much-loved Labrador, Adrian, and a very friendly cat.

I am Leah and I run a business in the city, heading in a couple of days a week and otherwise working from home. My partner is a labourer who works across different sites. We enjoy a relaxed household and would love someone who is comfortable being social and sharing a friendly home environment. We absolutely love life here on the Peninsula and are keen to share it with the right person.
