Hi there, I am Victor, friends call me Vic. I'm an academic working for a large public university. Originally from Venezuela, but I have been in Melbourne for 16 years. Right now I am pretty busy with work and when I am not flat-out, I'm hanging out with my friends, going to the movies, cycling, hiking, and having them over for dinner. I've lived in two shared houses over the 12 years pre-covid, but have lived on my own throughout the pandemic. I am house trained and I happen to enjoy the company of others. I follow the best available, evidence-based health advice. I am fully vaccinated + boosters, and I try to protect my health and the health of those around me. I enjoy sharing food or cooking with my flatmates every often. In my experience that has to be a natural process.

Description of pets
I have no pets and I could live with a cat or a dog if they are not moody or weird, one of my friends has a "racist dog"... I guess you can see how that could be a problem... I love animals of all kinds, I grew up in a house with 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 guinea pig, 1 snake, 1 turtle and a fish-tank. All these great creatures required a lot of training, patience and dedication, I really don't have time for that atm but if you take care of them yourself I don't mind having them around.
