Home Description

Description of the home

A 150 year old house tucked away in Abbotsford, our home is surprisingly spacious and bright. Full of plants (and plans to continue adding to the number) and on a quiet road. There are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, spacious kitchen, large backyard, lounge and cute little sun-room!

It is a stone's throw from a metro Woolworths and IGA with a fabbbb veg/vegan section and a short bike ride to The Hive for a bigger shop. There are also a tonne of parks, walks and bike tracks on every corner including the Collingwood Children's Farm about 500m away, a completely dreamy location to explore.

4min walk to Victoria Park station, or 15minute walk to the tram on Victoria Street (78, 109 & 12) and theres buses just around the corner from that. Parking wise there is 2hr parking on one side and a clearway for most of the day on the other (I have my own car in the 2hr park without moving it and dont get fines since COVID)

About the occupants
I am a queer, plant loving, animal loving, coffee and tea obsessed social worker in my twenties who is the ultimate homebody. I am a vego, coeliac beb but love a treat so am partial to baking a yummy gluten free treat on a weekend.
Compatible people
I am looking to fill the rooms with like-minded people with similar schedules. I am currently working 9-5ish weekdays and am set up in the sunroom. People working in the health care industry/human services would be ideal! We are a quiet house during the day but love a night in front of the TV watching crime docs or a wine in the backyard. If youre a racist, ableist, SWERF or TERF (although i doubt anyone here would be) lol bye.
Description of pets
Bruno/Bubba. Bruno is the laziest but most loving baby boy you'll ever meet. He is a big boi (40kgs) so if you arent into big dogs with a bit of a lack of personal boundaries then this probably isnt the house for you. However if you are down for constant cuddles, constant attention licks and a watch dog in the window hes ur man. Unfortunately as he is a recent rescue we cannot consider any other pets
