- WiFi
- Foxtel in lounge room
- Hairdryer

- BBQ on balcony

There is an awesome large balcony with ocean views which is awesome to sit on and have a glass of wine on a Friday afternoon. We are all about comfort so there is a giant love sac to snuggle up in as well as a hammock on the balcony. The bedroom we have up for rent is a double room and comes with all furniture. We have been told the bed is super comfortable plus the bedroom has a window that faces west so you are always going to have some nice afternoon sunshine. We have foxtel on the TV in the loungeroom plus broadband internet which is all included in the price. We have everything you would need to cook plus there is heaps of shelf space for you to put your food and bits.

The apartment is about a 90 second walk to Coogee Beach which is awesome come summer time. The balcony has awesome views of the beach and the ocean. We are also only 5 minutes walk away from all the cafes and supermarkets on Coogee Bay Road. Parking is super easy and on the road, you can apply for a parking permit once you change your address.

We like to keep the house looking respectable and make sure we clean and tidy it often. We would expect our new flatmate to have the same courtesy and clean up after themselves in the living areas. We take pride in living in such a lovely apartment and want someone to live with us who will also take pride as well as respects the house as much as we do.

An animal lover is a must, we sometimes foster baby kittens and puppies for the RSPCA and other rescue foundations but they will always be kept in a cage out of the way. We also have cats ourselves but we have also never had a flatmate or person stay with us who has not fallen totally in love with them. We do make sure the place is swept, clean and tidy because we know how much mess kittens can make so don't worry, the animals wont effect you at all apart from stealing your heart and possibly your lap!

About the occupants
We are a easy going couple who loves a chat and to meet new people. We both love to cook awesome and creative meals and also bake some seriously delicious goodies.

Cat (me) is a 28yr old Personal Trainer who has a very irregular schedule and loves to sleep! I am usually up anywhere between 4.30am - 5.30am and out the door to go to the gym (to work or train). I get home from work usually around 3pm and then I work on my other business, cook dinner, feed the animals etc and I usually go to bed at around 8.30pm. I love the outdoors, in summer I will never be at home because I am working on my tan at the beach or out paddleboarding (we have two). If I am not on the beach then I am out bushwalking, I like to climb mountains (just got back from doing Base Camp, Mt Everest) so I am often asking people to come walking with me. I sound active, but I have to admit that most weekends I go to bed at 8pm on Saturday night and sleep forever to catch up on a weeks worth of early mornings.

Rob (my partner 36yrs old) is a tradie who runs his own business. He gets up anywhere from 5.30am - 7am and will go to work around 8-9am depending which job he is working on. Rob loves his coffee and current affairs, he is super helpful and can do pretty much anything he puts his mind too so will be very helpful for you should you ever need help with fixing something. Rob loves to cook and also bake (which he is awesome at!) so there is never a shortage of epic meals in this house. He is also hilarious, cracking jokes that are sometimes not funny at all.

Gone are the days where we would go out on a Saturday night til midnight. We both work really hard and enjoy a good relax on the weekends but that does not mean we are boring. I always make sure every single weekend we go out and do something different and exciting so we are not home on the sofa all weekend (rainy Sundays are the exception). We like to explore this city and all it has to offer. We also catch up with friends often, sometimes having people over for a BBQ in the Summer. We are both super healthy, fit and enjoy living life in this awesome city!
Compatible people
We are looking for an friendly, respectful, full time working professional who is clean and has a great sense of humour. In our ripe old age we have become a little less party and a little more chill out with a movie and an early night and we are looking for someone who has the same lifestyle (oh god, how boring...!) We are more than happy for you to join us to watch TV, hang out and tell us about your day but we will also respect your privacy if you just want to be left alone.

It is essential that whoever moves in here is not afraid of cleaning and helping out around the house. The fairies we hired to put the rubbish out and empty the dishwasher have gone on a holiday to Bermuda and I don't think they are coming back :( Of course if you are never home or make a mess I would not expect you to clean up after us, just pitch in when its required.
Description of pets
Wally is a 6 year old cat who loves anyone who loves him. He is friendly and loves to have company around the house. Gus is a 3 yr old cat who tends to keep to himself, you probably wont see much of him.
At the moment we have 2 x 8 week old kittens - Poppy and Frank. Put it this way, if you dont mind having tiny little kittens climb on your lap and give you love as soon as you get home, you will love these two. We volunteer as foster carers for the RSPCA and we get an array of animals that need our love and attention from time to time. If you ever fancied learning how to bottle feed a baby kitten, this might be your chance!
