Home Description

Description of the home

2 bedroom apartment, located in Auchenflower just a few minutes drive from the city. The apartment has broadband internet, and off street parking is available. It's in a really good location with a train station up the road, a bus stop less than 2 minutes walk away and Milton Ferry terminal is only a few minutes walk away as well. There's a 24 hour service station around the corner.

The apartment itself is a little bit old, but it's still pretty cosy. There are no ceiling fans or air conditioning so in summer it gets a bit hot, but being on the 5th floor there is usually a nice breeze and using a pedestal fan is usually enough. You can see the river from the balcony and there is a Jetts Gym directly across the street. It's a pretty quiet building and there's never really any noise from the neighbours. A key is required to enter the building so it's quite safe. There is secure basement parking available also

About the occupants
Hey, my name's Adrian, I'm 24 and studying Nutrition Science at QUT. I'm at uni most days of the week and normally home on weekends. I'm a pretty low key person. I like a drama free household. I also like a quiet household, but I do like to sink a bottle of wine every now and then. And even then I do that quietly...
I value alone time and sometimes I just prefer to be in my room by myself, but in saying that I am quite social with my small group of friends. I like to read books and there are lots of books around the apartment. I like to ask questions and get to know people.
I'm very easy going. Not much bothers me and I'm very rarely angry or upset. I do like a living situation that has mutual respect and consideation.
Compatible people
I'm looking for someone who is also low key and reasonably tidy. My ideal housemate would be able to handle a joke and isn't overly sensitive or easily offended. I don't like walking on eggshells so a degree of openness would be preferred. Someone who will pitch in with cleaning every now and then would be good too. I want to live with someone who will respect my personal space, but also someone that I can hang out with at home sometimes. Someone who is willing to make the effort to be friends.
