Home Description

Description of the home

It's a lovely, leafy spot we have in Albert Park: in our garden and beyond!

There's our pretty little courtyard which we so often enjoy on a nice summer's evening (refer to wine fridge comment). Then, the expanses of Albert Park's many gardens.

We're just two streets back from the beach, too. We're just a couple of minutes' walk to the cafes and amenities of Victoria Ave, and we're serviced by the #1, #12 and #96 trams (a two, seven and ten-minute walk, respectively).

Inside our Victorian-style terrace home, there's so much room - and not just in our master bedroom (the one that's up for grabs)! You'll have a bathroom to call your own, and a large dining room, living room and kitchen, too.

We're on a month-by-month lease arrangement, so we're happy to consider shorter or longer term stays. For the most part, we have all the homely things - but we can discuss details upon interest.

We have on-street parking (with permit) available, too.

About the occupants
Hello! We're Mel and Lauren: professionals in our mid-thirties, broadly working in marketing. Mel runs her own business (so works from home sometimes); Lauren works in an ad agency. So, our working hours are often long and unpredictable!

We have a wine fridge, which we dip into more than we top up. Aside from this (can we list wine as 'fun'?), us ex-Perth girls indulge in many Melbourne stereotypes for kicks: yoga, bike rides, brunching, weekends away, etc.

We're firm friends but we live quite independently: working to our own schedules during the week, but catching up over evening meals / on weekends.

We're looking for someone who'll likely be working in a professional role, too, and who's looking for a friendly home but with space to keep to themselves if they wish. Hope it's your flat-match!
Compatible people
Friendliness, consideration and desire to keep a lovely, welcoming home. Also, independence as we both lead busy lives (but we like to build a healthy social life together, too).
