Home Description
Description of the home
Great location, 10-15 minute drive to city. Bus stops 200 metres from house, Newmarket train station nearby. In between Alderley & Newmarket shopping centres, gyms, parks & pubs nearby. Lovely neighbours.
The house is a renovated worker's cottage, a Queenslander with wooden polished floors in common area, high ceilings, large rooms, white panel wood walls and those classic breezeway things above the doors. House gets a breeze if we open windows. The lounge room & kitchen are the same, large open room. The room you will be occupying is 2.9x3.4 metres, and share a bathroom with 1 other housemate. The bathroom & kitchen are modern. Electric oven, dishwasher, etc. There is unlimited internet included in the rent, the power bills are paid separately.
There's plenty of street parking and one visitor park spot in the driveway. We also have a garage we use for storage, heaps of space if you have stuff to store. You could park in there if you wanted, we use street parking because it's easier/quicker.
There's a Nintendo 64 with all the classics. We have game nights every now and then with cards against humanity / joking hazard / poker / charades, etc. sometimes a few drinks.

Bills and expenses
Internet is included. Quarterly power bill is divided amongst the 3 of us fairly. I usually pay the most because I usually use the most. Would normally be about $60-70 for you per quarter, so about an extra $5 or so per week.
