I am a 58-year-old Berliner who is young at heart. I emigrated from Germany 3 years ago and have a permanent residence. I really love my life here in Australia. I am active in the Rotary Club choir, work Saturdays as a German teacher and part time for the German Community Service, go to church regularly, love long walks on the beach, painting and music of all kinds. I had big plans with my partner, but not all dreams could be realised. Now I will move on alone, there is still so much to do and discover. I love cooking, preferably for friends, I also like gardening and generally enjoy spending time in nature. As a German, I am terribly tidy, having worked in management in a large hospital in Berlin for many years. Organisation, cleanliness and respectful interaction are essential. I am a very friendly and open person, love the company of people, good conversations, but also love to retreat in silence with myself. Respectful and friendly interaction is a basic requirement for me. I can adapt well and abide by the landlord's wishes. I value my privacy very highly and also like to withdraw from time to time to read, write or paint. I am entertaining and can certainly tell many stories about my life in Germany, my travels around the world and cooking a delicious meal for us. Cleaning the kitchen included.
Food sharing and furniture
I prefer to prepare my own food, I often cook in advance and freeze tasty soups or dishes. I also like to bake bread and cakes. I eat everything, favouring a healthy, more Mediterranean diet.
