Hi there!

We are Tahlia and Kun, a friendly, responsible, and quiet couple looking for a great place to call home.

I am 25 years old and work as a professional in the freight industry, having previously graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor’s degree in International Business.

My partner, Kun, is also 25 and has a background as a professional chef—he was previously the head chef at Mismatch Brewery. He is currently in his third year of studying Chemical Engineering and Finance, balancing his studies with a busy schedule.

As housemates, we are definitely homebodies who appreciate a clean and peaceful environment. We love spending time in the kitchen cooking up delicious meals, and we’re always up for a cheeky beverage on the weekend.

In our downtime, Kun enjoys hitting the gym and playing video games, while I love relaxing with some manga. We are both big fans of swimming as well.

The most important part of our household is our two beautiful, well-behaved indoor cats, Salad (a male tuxedo) and Noodle (a female torbie). They are both fully vaccinated, desexed, and microchipped. They are strictly indoor cats and are very well-trained. Because we adore them like family, we are looking for a pet-friendly home where they will be welcomed and safe.

We take great pride in keeping our space tidy, respecting others' privacy, and being reliable with rent and bills. We’re looking for a comfortable space where we can settle in and hopefully find housemates who are just as easygoing as we are.

We are looking for a home within a 30 minute drive of Largs Bay and a 30 minute bus ride to Adelaide University.

We are looking for a housemate who is clean, respectful, and understands that a happy home thrives on clear communication and mutual consideration.

Since our cats are strictly indoor companions, it is essential that our housemate is vigilant about keeping doors and windows secure to ensure their safety. We treat Salad and Noodle as part of the family, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable living with two well-mannered pets.

In terms of the household dynamic, we value a comfortable and balanced environment where we can all function normally and comfortably. We would love someone who enjoys a bit of banter and is happy to sit down for a chat or share a meal together once in a while, while also respecting each other's downtime.

Regarding household logistics, we have plenty of furniture we are more than happy to share to help make the space feel complete. We prefer to keep our groceries separate - having learned from experience that it’s best to avoid any confusion around shared food. We are happy to share staples like spices, herbs, and sauces to help make cooking a bit easier for everyone.

We come as a package deal with our two well-mannered, strictly indoor cats, Salad and Noodle. They are fully vaccinated, desexed, and microchipped, and we take their care very seriously.

Salad (Male, DSH Tuxedo):

Our cheeky boy is full of personality! He’s a bit of a rascal who loves to flick over cups and keep an eye out for any unattended food. That said, he is a total sweetheart who loves nothing more than curling up on a lap for belly rubs, ear scratches, and bum pats.

Noodle (Female, DSH Torbie):

Noodle is our little "sook" and brings so much love into our home. She is incredibly playful and quite clingy—in the best way possible! She’s a world-class snuggler who loves to sleep under the covers with us every night, tucked safely in our arms. She has a real soft spot for forehead and chin scratches.
