I'm Danielle, I work full-time in the arts and cultural industry and have recently taken on a parental-leave contract, working regionally in Ballarat. I live an active and healthy lifestyle, with a good balance of work, play, fitness and fun. I've spent most of my career working in the creative industry and love the arts, music, films, food, culture and everything this amazing city has to offer. I am also undertaking an MBA therefore I will need a quiet space for studying throughout the week.

I am very house proud, extremely considerate of other people's space and their belongings and don't expect too much of housemates. Compatibility and respect is what make a harmonious household. I enjoy the company of others, am very much a people person. I love a chat but also respect people's space and downtime. I am mindful that it is a shared space and being flexible and open to each other's tastes and lifestyles is important. I like to feel that home is a home and live with people who are interactive and communicative rather than reclusive. However, I also love chilling out in my room or in the garden with a good book or series for some down time.

I look after my meals but don't mind if essentials are shared if you happen to run out of something. As for general household rules, I am happy to fit into arrangements for expenses and have high standards of cleanliness. Chores should be equally shared and would be interested in setting a roster of household duties! I love to cook when entertaining for guests and don't mind the odd dinner party. A place with a bit of outdoor space would also be amazing as I love the outdoors, particularly in summer and love to nurture gardens, plants and herbs. I don't have any pets of my own but love animals so I am fine with anyone with pets, so long as they are house-trained.

I have lived with many people and have held many leases to myself. Reliable and respectful, I am after house that is homely, clean with a warm vibe with like-minded people. Ideally after 6-12 month arrangement.

I usually prefer to take care of myself with meals, since I tend to go out often and don't want to inconvenience anyone. Prefer a non-furnished bedroom but am happy to negotiate a shorter-term stay if furnished.

No Pets, but love animals and am ok with pets in the house so long as they are clean and toilet trained. I love doggies and would be inclined to want to take them out with me for my daily afternoon walk after work.
