Currently my work is only casual although I am seeking a more full-time position & I work for Southeast Brisbane Public Health Network doing Advocacy work for addictions ranging from gambling and drug and alcohol to mental health issues, institutionalization alongside suicide prevention strategies.
Work which I personally find extremely rewarding!
I'm currently 46 years of age and have just recently gotten away from a domestic violence situation, although I don't have children...
I don't often entertain at home, although there are perhaps approximately 5-10 people whom I consider close enough friends whom I would have over to watch say a movie or share dinner with. Although, tbh if I'm going to see a friend, it's more often than not outside of my home.
I can be sociable, however also truly do enjoy my privacy to read, watch tv/movies and play music. (I'm also teaching myself another instrument; which I refrain from doing whilst anyone is around!!! Lol

Important personal qualities
To me what are of the uttmost importance when sharing with someone, first and foremost is that rent and bills are consistently paid on time!
Secondly, if you use it you put it away. And just being considerate enough to make certain that the place is always clean & tidy because nobody wants to get sick from dirty dishes! That includes having my room tidy... (Although I'm not pedantic nor OCD, who cares so long as everything is presentable).
I like to cook most nights, so if I have cooked I like to be able to share/offer a meal and if it works out with one another, going shopping together is something I do enjoy. Especially when there are items such as butter/Marg., Milk, bread, salt/pepper etc. that I feel is better being split. However I'm pretty cruisy/flexible when it comes to most things - as long as they're discussed first I guess... Everyone has their quirks!
Apart from that, I guess kindness and genuine decency is perhaps the most important thing because when you are living with someone, it makes it so much easier and far more pleasant just to get along with each other...
