My name is João Pedro. I was born on 12/07/1994 and I am from Brazil. I am looking forward for a place to stay in Australia. I have enrolled on Technical and Further Education (TAFE) to study English full-time.
I am interested in going to Australia to quickly improve my English level. I chose Australia because it is a multicultural country that permits the connection with different cultures.
Australian cities were every time the bests cities in the world and has one of the countries with the best education. And the reason why I chose Brisbane is because of the weather and it’s a friendly city. Therefore, the city hosts the annual City Welcome Festival, Australia’s largest student mentoring event, catering to international students. I'm from Brazil, Cuiabá-MT, but I'll be living in Brisbane for the next 5 months, starting 6/25/23.

My friends would describe me as easygoing, hardworking, analytical and independent. In my free time, I like to spend my time outside, alone or with other people. I often go out for a run, having workout at the gym. One of my favorite places to go is anywhere with nature, parks, beaches, waterfalls.
I am a civil engineer by profession and I work remotely with engineering projects. I also plan to do some shifts with hospitality jobs. On weekdays, I usually go to bed at 10:30 am and wake up at 5:00 am. On weekends, I'm usually asleep by 12:00 and wake up around 6:00.
‍I am a very sociable person, but I also need my alone time. I want my home to be a place where I can entertain people, but not a place that is constantly full of people. I'm open to the idea of ​​my roommates hosting small parties - I'd just like to know about it in advance. I'm in the mood to get to know each other; I'm not saying we have to be best friends, but I would like to do things like occasionally watch TV together and organize barbecues for friends. If you're not open to the idea of ​​sharing a meal together every now and then, we're probably not a good fit.
I like to keep common spaces very clean. I do the dishes every day and put away my belongings when I get home from work. I'm open to the idea of ​​a cleaning schedule to keep things organized.
My weekly budget is $250. I hope to find a house in any neighborhood close to the city or close to public transport stations.
