Hello, my name is Elisabeth (Lizzy), I am in my 54 and have been living in Brisbane, Australia for a year and a half now. I am a dual citizen and grew up holidaying here to visit family, and then over time a few close friends. Back home in Canada I do own my home therefore becoming a landlord to pursue life in Aus.

I pride myself on being very cleanly, motivated, helpful, quiet, reliable and dependable. I am quite a social person but also a hard worker, so I come with a healthy respect for the time and space everyone needs for themselves. I can provide references to contact when required and welcome any opportunity to get to know one another by phone and/or video chat as well as meet and greets for prospective rentals.

I am presently employed in Traffic Control and loving it. I am an early riser as I usually have early site starts but am quiet as a mouse so as not to disturb the household and differing schedules. I love to cook and am usually well prepared for my work week to keep my schedule running smoothly.

Outside of work I enjoy visiting with friends and family, exploring the beautiful city of Brisbane and its gorgeous waters, walkways, beaches and sites about town.

I have rented for a good portion of the time I have been in Brisbane but also filled my time with house and pet sitting which has quickly become an exceptional way to meet the most interesting and lovely people as well as get to know my way around Brisbane just a little more. I am very much looking forward to this next step in settling in to life here and finding a long-term place to live.

I'm very easy going and quite a social person though I do like a person who can respect personal boundaries and space. Great communication is key as well as pitching in; a well run home is everyone's responsibility. I love music, movies and a lively setting however am past my late night party days so respect for a decent nights sleep when there is work in the morning is a bonus.

As I am new to living here I have not accumulated furniture so far. Preferably, it would be beneficial to rent furnished but it is not a requirement as I can easily assess what may be necessary.
I don't have any particular diet restrictions, I love food, but am a healthy eater for the most part. I am not opposed to other diets of choice; to each their own.
I prefer not to share food, I just think it makes things simpler to purchase my own groceries, though I am familiar with and enjoy engaging in shared meals from time to time.
