Hey, we’re Dave and Georgie 👋
We’re based on the Sunshine Coast but looking for a place to stay on the south side of Brissy 4–5 nights a week closer to work. We also spend a fair bit of time away in our van, so we won’t be around full-time, with plans to head back to the coast on a Thursday or head away in the bus.
We’re both pretty busy with work and training, so when we’re home it’s usually a mix of cooking, relaxing and an early night. We’re tidy, respectful, and easy to live with. We enjoy a bit of connection with housemates and are also happy chilling and unwinding in our room.
Dave is an engineer, and Georgie works in helicopter search and rescue. Outside of work we’re into bush walks, pilates, MMA, and generally living a healthy, active lifestyle.
We also have our dog Lucy 🐾 She’s very well trained, used to being indoors, and knows lots of tricks. She’s calm, friendly, and a super chill dog. She gets along with cats and dogs.
We’d suit a home that’s fairly relaxed and not too rowdy at night, as we tend to wind down early (around 9:30ish).
Since we'll be pretty busy during the week, away a lot and have our place on the coast we aren't looking to spend too much on rent. We'd be open to house swapping if there was a circumstance in which that could work.

We are both genuinely caring and good communicators. We are looking for people who are similar, and easy to live with. We enjoy a good chat and a laugh, but also will be in a bit of a routine during the week and some nights will be home to eat and jump into bed.

We'd be fine with or without furniture, we would probably get our own King bed if the room has anything smaller (Dave is tall).
We love all foods! Enjoy a mix of cuisines but usually keep cooking pretty quick and simple during the week if we haven't done meal prep on the weekend, and do enjoy a bit of Mexican takeaway when we are feeling lazy or good quality pizza. Happy to share if we do a good cook up! Dave's great on the bbq.

Medium sized desexed mixed breed 5 year old female dog named Lucy.
She is well trained and happy to relax most of the day. She enjoys sunbaking and relaxing by herself or with others.
We walk her basically every day. She can walk off lead and knows lots of tricks. She usually will save her poop for on the walk too.
She isn't aggressive or territorial. She is very submissive and she can get overwhelmed/stressed by large or dominating dogs which may not be great for her long-term. If they aren't too full on she would love the company. She also loves cats.
She is an inside/outside dog. Her hair is short and doesn't make a mess.
Most people fall in love with her when they meet her.
