Hi, I’m Michael, 47. I’m social, easygoing and friendly, but also very independent, clean and considerate of other people’s space.
I’m a full-time working professional, currently working as a heavy vehicle driver while balancing employment with ongoing studies at Griffith University’s Gold Coast campus. I keep fairly busy with work, study and life outside of both, and I’m generally out and about much of the week. I’m ideally looking for somewhere around the central/coastal Gold Coast that’s convenient and well located.
I’m well travelled and have had a pretty varied career, previously working internationally in oilfield operations and as a pilot in Australia and the US. These days I’m enjoying being back on the Gold Coast, continuing my studies and pursuing the heavy vehicle side of things.
At home I’m relaxed, quiet, clean and considerate and tend to get along well with people. I’m quite happy doing my own thing, while still enjoying a chat, a meal or being social when it naturally works. I do a fair bit of simple, healthy meal prep around my work schedule, so I have some kitchen gear, but otherwise I’d be bringing fairly minimal belongings and mainly furnishing my own room where necessary.
I’m looking for a comfortable, friendly and respectful household where everyone can live their own lives while still enjoying some friendly interaction when it suits. I value a home that’s clean and relaxed, with people who respect each other’s downtime, privacy and space.
