Hi, I’m Matthew. I’ve recently been appointed as the Workforce Coordinator for Queensland Ambulance Service and am relocating from Victoria, looking for temporary accommodation for 6–12 months.
I’m a non-smoker and rarely drink, though I’ll enjoy the occasional social drink. I’m married; however, my wife will be remaining in Victoria due to work commitments in the short term and will only visit a couple of times over the 6–12 month period for a day or two at a time, typically around public holidays.
I’m easy-going, respectful, and tidy, and I value a calm and comfortable living environment. I’m also an animal lover and enjoy being around pets. In my downtime I enjoy a good movie, and I’m a bit of a foodie—I enjoy both cooking at home and eating out. I would prefer a room with air conditioning to help with acclimatisation to the hotter Queensland climate.
I would ideally prefer all-inclusive rent covering bills such as electricity, water, and internet (excluding food, which I’m happy to manage myself).
I’m looking forward to settling into Queensland and finding a place I can call home during the working week in the short term, before eventually finding something more permanent for my wife and myself.
