Hey, I’m Lachie!

I’m a 21 year old software engineer working out of the Valley, currently living on the Sunshine Coast and looking to make the move to Brisbane to make my life a bit easier.

I’m pretty easy going with a silly, ironic sense of humour, though I can be serious when it counts. Outside of work I spend most of my time coding personal projects or gaming on my PC and lately I’ve been adding the gym into the mix too, working on a bit of a health kick that’s been going really well. I’d love to find a roommate who shares some of those interests, whether that’s the tech side, gaming, or just someone who’s also trying to live a bit better.

A heads up on a couple of things: I have a girlfriend who would likely stay a few nights a week. She’s respectful of shared spaces and happy to contribute to the household. I have quite a large desk I’d like to bring along, so ideally at least a bit of room for that. Im generally looking to move out late July early August but willing to move sooner for the right opportunity. I’m also on the autism spectrum, it mostly just means I value my own space and won’t always want to be social. I’m not one to cause drama, and in return I genuinely thrive with a roommate who can approach any issues with a level head and a bit of logic. If something’s bothering you, just bring it to me calmly and directly, I’ll always do the same, and we’ll get along really well.

As for who I’m looking for, someone kind, warm and easy going would be the dream. I’ve always naturally clicked better with people who have a softer, kinder energy over the emotionless or stoic type. Being able to have a laugh is a must, but at the end of the day I just want someone who’s genuinely nice to be around.
