Hi all.

I’m all I’m a 41 year old single straight acting gay guy looking for a place near or north of the city.

I’m originally from Melbourne and moved to Queensland at the start of 2020. Currently live on the Sunshine Coast (Buddina).

I work in Operations (Crewing) for a Sunshine Coast based airline. Been in the aviation industry for the 15 years (excluding a short break during Covid where I work for hotel).
I’m rostered on a rotating roster where I work four days on, four off. During my working week I would reside with family on the coast due to distance and length of shift.

Looking at living part time in Brisbane to have more of a social life, Sunshine Coast is great but finding it bit isolating being a single gay guy.

I have an 8 year old whippet named Alby, he is fine to stay on the Coast however a pet friendly place would be good for occasional stays.

I’m pretty independent, generally have lived alone but haven’t recent experience in where accommodation. I’m clean, responsible and financially responsible. Have some saving therefore will pay rent on time. I won’t have guests staying over apart from my ten year old nephew would may occasionally stay over if we have planned activities, happy to always get approval in advance.

I’m open to location, not very familiar with Brisbane having only lived in Dutton Park for a couple of months during the peak of Covid.

Also very flexible with move in date.

Ideally looking for gay male housemates with common interests as close to my age as possible. Okay with couples however would limit to maximum of four to a house including myself.
Would require parking (or reliable street parking).

Would prefer to live with employed housemates who work away from home or have steady outside commitments to ensure independence and privacy.

Flexiable to rental amounts based on location, house mate number and parking.

Due to my shift work I generally cook for myself

I have a 8 year old whipped named Alby, he is a rescue and came from a bad house so it takes him a couple of weeks to get warm to new people, he will otherwise just do him own thing. He is well behaved, toilet trains and generally a good dog. He is struggling with the Queenslsnd weather.
