Hey, I’m Kris
I’m 34 and work full time in the disability sector.
I’m into all things creative – making music, graphic design, Photoshop, that kind of stuff – and I’m a big sports fan (NRL, soccer, cricket, F1 mostly).
I’ve got two green‑cheek conures (small parrots). They’re very tame, friendly little characters and spend most of their time inside with me. Most of the day they’re pretty quiet, but in the afternoon they’ll have a good chirp back and forth with the birds outside, so there will be some noise. Not constant screaming, but enough that if you need the place to be totally silent during the day, it might bug you.
Their cage is on wheels so I move it around the house, and sometimes I roll it outside during the day so they can get some fresh air. They’re on a routine, I clean up after them, and they’re not free‑roaming 24/7. They live inside as part of the household, so just keeping you in the loop before we chat.
Looking to move in within the next couple of months (no hard deadline). Budget is around $300/week, ideally a bit under. Prefer somewhere in or around Kirwan, but open to other suburbs if it’s a good fit. House preferred, but open to units/townhouses. Keen to team up with the right person/people to rent somewhere together, or join an existing share.
