Hi I'm Harriet. I'm 32 and work in Education in a Government role. I work during the day from about 7am til 4pm so when I get home I very much like to get home, eat, chill with my partner and kitty cat and crash. On weekends I love going on adventures, indulging in a Sunday nap and meeting friends.

I've been in Cairns for about a month and my partner Jay is about to move up with our cat Flix and we are looking for somewhere to tide us over until we can find something permanent.

Jay is 36 and works in warehousing and logistics. He loves movies, live music and food! He's a good cook too! We are both very quiet and not huge partiers so we would prefer a house that's only got a couple of house mates or even a granny flat.

Flix is a five year old tuxedo cat. She's very shy and loves curling up in her beanbag on her favourite white blanket. She is an indoor cat and wouldn't last five minutes in the wild, no matter how much she protests. She loves food, cuddles and ear scratches.
Compatible people
We are quiet but sociable, respectful, tidy, honest, hard working and friendly. We are very quiet and want to be able to do our own thing, but also are open to being social and having a drink or two. We also appreciate if you are tidy and clean! I can’t handle a messy kitchen!!
Food sharing and furniture
We are happy to arrange our own food but am willing to share too. We are planning on buying furniture up here however we do have a double bed & two TVs and a desk
Description of pets
I have a 5 year old tuxedo cat named Flix (her name was Felix before I got her desexed and the vet broke it to me that I actually had a girl cat, not a boy cat like I thought. I clearly didn't win cat Mum of the year that year.)

She's very quiet and shy but loves food, cuddles and her favourite beanbag and blanket. She takes a while to warm up to new people but once you win her over, she's affectionate as anything!

She's an inside cat, she wouldn't last two minutes outside... don't believe her when she meows to go out... that girl wouldn't have a clue how to survive!
