Hi I'm Jon, a 31 year old doctor from the UK coming to work in Darwin from February-August. I'll be working shifts including night shifts. I'm moving alone and have never been to Darwin before. Particular interests include bouldering/rock climbing, hiking, gaming, and nature. More of a night owl than a morning person. I love good coffee!
Compatible people
Clean and tidy, sociable and chatty while appreciating personal space. Happy to share meals and do social activities together (exercise, eating out, hikes, exploring Darwin etc.). I'm quite laid back with a silly sense of humour and would be good to find someone similar to this! I'd have no problem with you having friends around but I'd appreciate having peace and quiet to sleep during the day if I'm on nights.
Food sharing and furniture
I have no furniture to bring, no dietary requirements and I'm happy to either share food or eat separately, I'll often be out for long shifts and at mealtimes so that might affect food sharing but happy to be flexible with food! I love houseplants but they don't tend to fly well so I won't be bringing any.
