About this person
About Me:
Hi! I’m a 47-year-old single female currently settling into life in Ballarat. I’ve recently made the move here to hit the "reset" button and I’m currently studying for a career change into Community Services, specifically focusing on Domestic Violence and Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD) support.
I am a calm, respectful person who values a peaceful home environment. I’m quite independent and respect everyone’s need for privacy, but I’m always happy for a friendly chat over a tea or coffee.
Lifestyle & Pets:
I love being outdoors and getting my hands in the dirt, so if there’s a garden that needs some love, I’m your person! I also enjoy cooking, listening to music, and being close to nature.
As you can see from my profile photo, I am a massive animal lover! While I don’t have any pets of my own right now, I’d be thrilled to live in a house that already has furry friends to pat. I am hoping to adopt a cat of my own down the track once I'm settled, so I'm looking for a pet-friendly space.
The Logistics:
I am looking for a stable, 6-month-plus lease with bills included. I am very clean and take pride in keeping common areas tidy. While I’m currently a full-time student, I am financially stable and happy to provide references or proof of my ability to cover rent and bills reliably.

Compatible people
I’m looking for housemates who value a balance of connection and independence. I’m big on mutual respect—both for the property and for each other's privacy. I'm not a total perfectionist, but I do take pride in a clean and tidy home and appreciate others who do the same.
Ideally, I’d love to live with people who share a love for nature and horticulture (I'm always happy to talk plants!), good food, and maybe even a road trip now and then. While I’m focused on my studies in Community Services, I’d love to build a genuine relationship with my housemates so that the home feels like a supportive, shared space rather than just a place to sleep.

Food sharing and furniture
I’m quite independent when it comes to food and prefer to do my own thing. I'm happy to chip into a 'kitty' for communal basics like oil or milk, but I prefer a 'cook for yourself' arrangement. I find it’s the best way to ensure everyone has the space and freedom to eat what they want, when they want!
