Hi, we are Rafael and Camila, a quiet, respectful, and easy going couple looking for a calm and comfortable place to live while we settle into this new chapter in Australia.

We have been together for 26 years and are a very stable, mature, and well grounded couple. We met when we were young, studied together, and have built a life side by side ever since. We are both Brazilian and lived in New Zealand for the past 18 years, and now we are moving to the Gold Coast region for Camila’s new job opportunity.

Camila is 43 and works in the scientific and pharmaceutical field. I am 44, work from home, and run my own company developing systems, websites, apps, automation solutions, and business tools for companies. Because I work remotely, I spend a good part of the day quietly on my computer, keeping to myself and following a steady routine.

We are calm, clean, organized, and considerate people. We do not party, we do not smoke, and we really value a peaceful home environment. We enjoy movies, reading, learning, meaningful conversations, and simple routines. We also like pets very much, so a home with animals would be absolutely fine for us.

During the week we are usually very quiet and focused on work and routine. On weekends, we often like to go out, explore, walk, enjoy the beach, or spend time outside the house. At home, we are quite private and usually stay mostly in our room when relaxing.

We are very light in the kitchen and do not cook a lot. Usually, we prepare food in advance once a week and organize meals in containers for the week, so we do not need to use the kitchen very often.

We are friendly and enjoy socializing naturally, having good conversations about life, sharing experiences, and building genuine friendships with good people. At the same time, we are very respectful of personal space and know how to live peacefully with others.

What we are looking for is a clean, calm, and well kept home, ideally in the Gold Coast area. We would prefer a quieter household with fewer people, ideally living with just one person or one other couple rather than a busy shared house. We would also strongly prefer to have our own bathroom.

We believe we are the kind of tenants who bring peace, respect, maturity, and positive energy to a home, and we would love to find a place where everyone feels comfortable and at ease.

We believe we would be most compatible with people who also enjoy a calm, respectful, and easy going home environment. We appreciate a quieter household rather than one with lots of parties or a very busy social scene.

We would feel most comfortable living with a person or couple who values cleanliness, consideration, privacy, and open communication. A peaceful home with low noise is very important to us, especially during the week, as we both value rest, routine, and a relaxed atmosphere.

We enjoy cooking and would appreciate a home where the kitchen can be used comfortably, and we would strongly prefer to have our own bathroom. We also need a car park as part of the arrangement.

We are not vegetarian or vegan. Camila is gluten free, and she manages her meals very well, so that is easy for us. In general, we are happy to arrange our own food rather than share, although we are friendly and flexible.

As we are moving from New Zealand to Australia, we will not be bringing much furniture with us. We travel light and only have a couple of suitcases each, so we do not require much space.

Ideally, we are looking for a room with a double bed and some space for a desk or small work area, as I work on my computer. If there is no desk already, that is fine too, as long as there is enough room to set one up. A wardrobe or some storage for clothes would also be appreciated, but overall we are very simple and easy to accommodate.
