Hi, my name is Luke and I’m a single 36 year old recent import to Australia from Auckland. I’m originally from the UK but moved to NZ in 2013 and stayed their for 9 years until May 2022. I'm working full time as a Lighting Designer in the city (9-5) and am looking for a place (ideally) North of the river to call home. I'll likely be looking to work from home 1-2 days a week during the day as my job is mostly office based. I'm into writing, playing and listening to music, surfing, snowboarding, travel, keeping fit and sniffing out the best coffee around.
I've been In Melbourne since April 2023 and I'm an openminded person looking for the same in my flatmates, just after some good eggs really.
I've lived solo in appartments and in multiple share houses over the last 10 years so I'm well house trained, respectful of peoples space but also I understand how much of a difference an open and social environment can make. I'm looking for somewhere cool with a good vibe and the right mix of those things and not just a transactional living arrangement. The type of place where we slam on a good record over chats on an evening but probably not where the party returns to in the wee hours every weekend.
