two transfems looking for two rooms or teamup in the Preston-ish area. Two beautiful cats, as well!
Hello! We've recently been priced out of our rental and are looking either for two rooms to rent, or to team up and share in the Preston area - or somewhere along/near the Mernda line.
Our landlord was nice enough to give us a bit of a get out of jail free for leaving - we have until the 31st of July, but they'll let us break lease without any penalties with 2 weeks notice because we've been good tenants. Not good enough not to jack up the price of the place though.
So we're looking for somewhere to move to in the next 12-ish weeks. Would be very happy to group up with some folks to make something happen, or just move in to a place with two extra rooms. We've got an entire house's worth of furniture and appliances so we can pretty much furnish an entire place if needed.
Budget is in the realm of 800-850/pcm per person, with 900 possible for the right place. Would very much prefer to live with trans folks, but lets chat and see how we line up! 😃
About us!
Claire: I'm a 32 year old with a background in software engineering. Been renting for going on 13 years now. AuDHD neurodivergent creature that likes the quiet. I mostly spend my time learning - I'm something of a jack of all trades and I fall in love with machinery at the tip of a hat. I fix cars, bikes, electronics, computers, household machinery. Chances are I can make anything work better c:. My major passion though is film cameras and the repair of them. I really love film photography and going out for photo walks, or disassembling things! I also enjoy playing and running VtM games :3
Chloe: A 25 year old film student who spends a lot of their time watching video essays, pondering media, or discussing philosophy. Extreme nerd. Don't get her started! Also Autistic and ADHD. Has about 7 years of rental history behind them, and really enjoys socialising. Absolutely loves sitting down for a movie or to hang out doing whatever! Always has a camera with her.
Both very COVID conscious as I (Claire) am hit particularly hard when I get sick so I try to be good about not doing so! Very clean and all about having a house that operates well!
Also two very well behaved, beautiful angel cats named Bagel (tortoise-shell), and Oats (black and white tuxedo).
