I'm a 39 year-old Londoner who's been living in Australia for around two years, initially in Brunswick and more recently down on Victoria's Surf Coast. After experiencing coastal life I'm keen to move back up to the city for the convenience and culture that Melbourne excels at.
My personal life tends to revolve around music, exercise, food, and travel:
- I love listening to radio shows, heading to gigs and discovering new music from an array of sources.
- Fitness-wise I love running and cycling, recently taken up playing tennis, and enjoyed training in kickboxing for the last few years.
- Melbourne's food scene was a major pull of moving here and it's yet to disappoint! I'm also very happy in the kitchen and love sharing a home cooked meal.
- I've been lucky to travel a fair bit and continue to love visiting new parts of the world - most recently to Lombok to climb Mt Rinjani.
A typical week for me is a mix of days in the office - I work as a Lead Designer for a green energy business in the CBD - and working remotely. Outside of work I like to be out and about exploring - be it meeting friends at a local pub, hitting the cinema, or driving out of town to see Victoria's natural side.
