Hi, I'm Lara, she/they (queer - LGBT friendly is a non-negotiable), 26yrs. I'm an artist and fine art student, I've just dropped down to part-time study so I can pick up some more work. My study hours are pretty flexible, some days I'm at uni 8am-8pm, sometimes I'm home all day. Most of my time is spent on my arts practice, engaging in the community, chilling at my girlfriend's place, or hitting cafes.
Important personal qualities
Communication, I'm a fan of chore charts, feeling safe and welcome in my home is important, I like to be friends with whoever I'm sharing a space with! My politics and ethics are very much on the left and progressive, and I won't get along with those on the other end of the spectrum. Pro trans, pro Palestine, land back, acab unapologetically. I'm neurodivergent and have chronic illness flare-ups from time to time, so I need my space and privacy respected!
Food sharing and furniture
I prefer to have my own food, buy my own groceries, cook my own meals, and I'm often out of home around meal times, but I'm down for shared meals from time to time! Things like butter, sugar, toilet paper, paper towel, etc, I like having communal. No big deal as long as we're all down to pick up the slack from time to time as needed!
