Hello, my name is Amirreza Bahar and I’m a fourth -year Mechanical Engineering student at Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, Turkey. I have recently came to Melbourne as an exchange student for the upcoming semester at RMIT University, starting 21. of July.
I take pride in being a tidy, quiet, and responsible tenant. I am very focused on my studies and respectful of others’ space and privacy. I don’t smoke or drink, and I always follow rules wherever I stay. I understand the importance of keeping shared spaces clean and being considerate of neighbors or housemates. I am very organized and committed to paying rent on time without any delays — my father is financially supporting my stay. Also, it’s okay for me to pay for all duration of my accommodation at first day.
In my free time, I enjoy astronomy (I’ve even won a national bronze medal in astronomy and astrophysics back in Iran), playing and watching football, and spending quality time with good friends. I am easy to talk to, open to learning about new cultures, and excited to experience life in Melbourne both academically and socially.
