Hi there,
I’m Sean and fairly new to Melbourne. I’m currently living in Brunswick and have decided at the last minute not to renew the lease in my current place where I live solo so I can meet new people (and hopefully save a bit of money as well).
Ideally, I’m looking for somewhere around the area I’m in now (Brunswick, Coburg, etc.) or closer to where I work off St Kilda Road near The Alfred (Prahran, South Yarra, Hawksburn, etc.).
A bit about me: I work full-time in a corporate environment from 10–6, Monday to Friday. Outside of work I’m usually playing my PS5, reading about medieval history, or wandering the streets in search of Melbourne’s best HSP — I’m a bit of a nerd at heart. I’m also an avid traveller and often head interstate for work.
I’m very respectful of other people’s space and belongings, and after working in kitchens for a large part of my life I’m a very tidy and organised person when it comes to cleaning. I’m a non-smoker and enjoy a social drink occasionally, but I’ve lived with all kinds of people and lifestyles and am very easygoing.
I have my own furniture, so I’m ideally looking for an unfurnished room for around 6–12 months. Lease runs out on the 15th of this month (I know, VERY last minute) however I have some leeway from my current landlord if it takes a wee bit longer to find a place.
